Teaching and research is using collaborative innovation matrix architecture, horizontal Jewelry Design Teaching Department, Shoes&Hats&Bags Design Teaching Department, Textile Design Teaching Department, Accessories Design Teaching Department and Department of industrial design. Focusing on professional teaching and research, it's divided into several distinctive professional orientations: jewelry design, bag design, footwear design, accessories and garments design, home design, home textiles design, wearable products design and intelligent products design. All for the national undergraduate and graduate students; vertical basic research platform, science research platform and resource integration platform. The basic research platform consists of creative thinking research center, color design research center, new materials design aesthetics and Culture Research Center, ergonomics research center and crafts innovation research center, teaching and research for common design techniques, in the field of fashion design, big data research and trend prediction of apparel product design the standard research and development and design and sociology, aesthetics, psychology, anthropology and other interdisciplinary contribution.
