Chinese Academy of Lifestyle Design is the first domestic facility of "life style researches". It is established by both the Industrial Culture Development Center of MIIT and Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.

The goals of Chinese Academy of Lifestyle Design is to set up the design paradigm of innovation, , sustainability , and sharing to the happiness of Chinese, by using basic data platform to promote design innovation to research and design practice , and promoting the depth of integration and development and related industries.

The Academy is not only an educational institution but also an industry think tank for providing research outputs for social benign operation, lifestyle database, suggestions for the future ways of life, and creating public happiness of life.
