The Propaganda Department of Party Committee (BIFT News Centre) and Department of Teachers Work of BIFT (BIFT News Centre), led by BIFT Party Committee, implements the Party’s propaganda lines, principles and policies of the new era and carries out the propaganda work around the central task. The department contains positions of teacher ideological and political education, general affairs management, media education (including BIFT newspaper, official micro blog and official WeChat), cultural construction (including Picture Editing Department) and news propaganda (including BIFT news website and Chinese and English website management).
The main responsibilities that Propaganda Department of Party Committee undertakes are as follows,
To formulate and implement the propaganda development project and annual propaganda plan.
To actively carry out the study of Marxist theory and activity of practical policy, assist Party Committee of BIFT to improve the study of the theory center group in university and schools.
To carry out the investigation and study, timely grasp the teachers’ and students’ states of mind and deepen the teachers’ and students’ ideological and political education.
To strengthen the leadership in the field of ideology, arm people with scientific theory, guide people with accurate public opinion, shape people with distingue spirit and encourage people with excellent works.
To strengthen the work of News Centre, manage and coordinate with the BIFT newspaper, news website, Picture Editing Department, official micro blog and official WeChat, grasp the orientation of public opinion, take charge of the inside and outside news reports, organize and prepare BIFT press conference and set up a good image of BIFT.
To take charge of the macro-management of campus culture, highlight elaborate work strategy, guide and support the culture communities and culture activities and build a good campus culture environment.
To coordinate the operation and management of the Chinese and English website, guide the construction and management of Chinese and English website in units of all levels, coordinate the relevant department to monitor the website public opinion.
The main responsibilities of Department of Teachers Work of Party Committee undertakes are as follows,
To do teachers’ ideological and political work, coordinate with Party Committee of BIFT to guide the teachers’ moral education, cooperate with the relevant department to do teachers’ especially young teachers’ ideological and political work and promote teachers’ morality construction.
