2025 BIFT Undergraduate Graduation Exhibition

On April 25, the Zhangjiawan Fashion Carnival and the "Bo Xihe" 2025 Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (BIFT) Undergraduate Graduation Exhibition, hosted by BIFT and co-organized by multiple parties, opened grandly in Zhangjiawan Design Town, Tongzhou District. The opening ceremony was attended by guests including Yang Zhaohua, Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, and Pu Xuedong, Director of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, along with other government officials and industry leaders. The ceremony was presided over by BIFT Vice President Zou You.

The event was themed "Fashion Illuminates the City, Art Empowers Life." During the event, BIFT signed cooperation agreements with the China Fashion Association and the Tongzhou District Science and Technology Commission.

On the same day, the "Bo Xihe" 2025 BIFT Undergraduate Graduation Exhibition, themed "Treading Song," began. It featured over 5,000 works from 1,027 graduates across six colleges, covering an exhibition area of more than 4,000 square meters. The works, guided by the concept of "designing for the people," combined Chinese cultural resources with social realities, exploring the integration of tradition and technology, functionality and aesthetics, and demonstrated the students' professionalism and creativity.

Five Highlights:

1. Immersive Performances: Using large-screen projections and dynamic lighting to create an audio-visual feast.

2. Oriental Aesthetics with an International Narrative: A knitwear design showcase created by faculty and students, blending tradition and modernity.

3. Fashion Blue Carpet: A blue-themed pathway with AR interactive screens and display devices, attracting many visitors to take photos.

4. Peking Opera Meets Mechanics: "Mechanical Opera" combines Peking Opera singing with futuristic mecha design, giving new creative tension to traditional opera.

5. Dream of Red Chamber Garden Party: Based on the musical "Dream of Red Chamber," it conveys the artistic appeal of fashion.
