On October 18, the Global Jewelry Art Biennale organized by Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology was held on the first floor of Beijing Fengke Wanda Plaza, with relevant leaders and distinguished guests in attendance. The exhibition, themed “Harmonious Light, Coexisting Life,” featured six sections, including "Digital • Domain" and "Craft • Domain," along with supporting activities. This Global Jewelry Art Biennale is the world’s largest academic event in the field of jewelry art.

Following the opening ceremony, the first jewelry collection runway show displayed over 500 pieces from 17 countries, presented by faculty and students of the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology’s School of Fashion Communication. The second show took place at the Beijing National Digital Publishing Base, using a traditional Chinese garden as its stage to blend Eastern aesthetics with modern fashion. The performance began with Pipa music and Kunqu opera, innovatively practicing the aesthetic concept of “scenery changing with every step.”

On October 19, the 2025 Beijing International Jewelry Art Exhibition Forum was held at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, bringing together many experts, scholars, industry leaders, and jewelry entrepreneurs. Discussions centered on key topics such as future trends in jewelry design, the integration of AI and jewelry design, motivations for wearing jewelry, teaching craftsmanship and art, digital practices in intangible cultural heritage, the direction of the jewelry industry in 2025 (including personalization), and sustainable creative concepts. Simultaneously, the awards ceremony for the “Future • Domain” global jewelry design competition was held.
