Recently, the undergraduate team from the School of Materials Design and Engineering of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (Zhou Li, Luo LAN, Zhou Yuhan, and supervised by Wang Yicheng) won the DNA Paris Design Award for their design "LEGMO Spine Rhythm - Smart Fashion Clothing for Correcting Sitting Leg Posture".

LEGMO Spine Rhythm - Smart Fashion Clothing for Correcting Sitting Leg Posture

This design, through the multi-modal feedback function of smart trousers, helps users improve lower limb problems caused by poor sitting postures and won the Excellent Project Award in the BRICS Industrial Innovation Competition in 2025. This achievement demonstrates the teaching effectiveness and research strength of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology in the intersection of art and technology. The college will continue to promote the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents and facilitate the innovative development of materials and fashion in China.
