The Department of Domestic Collaboration and Educational Practice (BIFT Park) at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology is a key functional unit responsible for deepening industry-education integration, expanding social resources, and improving the quality of talent cultivation. Closely aligned with the university’s development strategy, the department is committed to building high-level platforms for external cooperation and practical education, providing strong support for talent training, scientific research, social services, and the construction of a high-level, distinctive university.

Its main responsibilities include: coordinating in-depth cooperation with domestic enterprises, local governments, and industry associations; systematically advancing the construction of off-campus practice bases and practical education systems, and establishing activity platforms for organization, exhibition, and brand promotion that are shared by faculty and students, significantly enhancing their practical capabilities; actively promoting the transformation of scientific research achievements and supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among faculty and students through enterprise incubation mechanisms such as the Zhongguancun Fashion & Design Industry Innovation Park; vigorously developing multi-level lifelong learning programs, including high-quality degree and non-degree education, fashion-based aesthetic education, technical training, international projects, and professional services tailored to local communities; and fully undertaking the work of the Alumni Association Secretariat and the Education Foundation Secretariat, strengthening alumni organization building, uniting alumni forces to support the development of the university, actively raising social funds, planning and managing fund projects, and reinforcing donation execution. Through improved systems and stronger internal capacity building, the department continuously enhances service efficiency, strives to integrate high-quality internal and external resources, empowers the high-quality development of the university’s educational endeavors, and actively contributes to industry and social progress.
